I’ve been exposed to physical fitness since I was a young child! However, I wasn’t overly confident because I was the shortest and chubbiest one in my family. In school I played sports and went to the gym regularly, but it wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I got real results. This was because I decided to hire a trainer and follow the meal plan prescribed. It was amazing to see the confidence I gained through nutrition and exercise! My mom knew from that time I should be a personal trainer. After a few set backs my first two years of college, I took some time off to focus on myself and career interests. It was during this time that I realized my mother was right, and I was destined to become a personal trainer. So I headed back to finish my degree.
In December 2022, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Exercise Science and minor in Nutritional Science. Since a personal training certification is required to become a personal trainer, I began searching for a hands on practicum. Lucky for me a good friend was a client of Rapid Results Personal Training. She had asked me to cover a class for her, and I was so impressed at the level of training that I immediately spoke to the owner afterwards about the process to get into the practicum. I graduated from my practicum in 2022 and began training with the Rapid Results Team! I am now seeking a certification in Stretch Therapy and injury populations.
My goal as a trainer is to help as many people as I can to create new found confidence through their fitness journey. Only through a successful program of strength training, cardiovascular and nutrition can you truly succeed in total body transformation. It is with this success that the confidence will come. I want my clients to know that my role is to push them out of their comfort zones, but I’m also their biggest cheerleader! I will be here to support you through it all!
